Mission Statement
Rhinelander Area MOPS exists to encourage and equip mothers of preschoolers to realize their potential and recognize their value as a mother, in a safe and loving Christian environment.
From our Coordinator
There have been many times that I have bundled up my
kids, carried them through the snow covered parking lot, and dropped
them off crying to our great volunteers in the MOPPET rooms while I
smile and mouth the words “thank you”.
All the while I am thinking “Is this really worth it?
I could have stayed at home, cleaned the house, made the bed, and
the list goes on.” I flop
myself down in the chair and without saying a word I am comforted by the
Mom next to me in some way, of either empathy, or humor, or just plain
camaraderie. I realize I am
right where I belong.
Sometimes we need a break, a good laugh, a person who is in the same
season of life.
Rhinelander MOPS is a place for you to come as you are and feel accepted and nurtured on your journey through the preschool years. We laugh and pray and learn and create and try to get a little better at Mothering every day. Come join us!
